The Oaks On Seventh
Fine dining on the Square in Petersburg, Illinois
Our elegant luncheon traditions began at The Oaks Bed and Breakfast, located on the high hill directly above the historic Petersburg Town Square. Built in 1875, this B&B is an Italianate Victorian mansion that was originally the home of Illinois State Senator Edward Laning.
The Oaks On Seventh Restaurant now brings the Oaks B&B luncheon experience to our historic Petersburg Town Square location. This downtown lunchtime destination (also known as the old Tea Room on the Square) is located near to the many antique shops and other shopping attractions in Petersburg, IL. Our restaurant is also located near the many surrounding Menard and Sangamon County historic tourism locations (such as Abe Lincoln's New Salem State Historic Site.)
